To all Christian People to whom these presents shall Come Send Greating whereas by ye Last Will and Testament of Andries Jansen of flatbush Deceased baring ye Date ye seventen Day of Janury in ye year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred twelve thirten Reference being there unto had & may more at large Appear Wherein was bequeathed & granted unto Janetie Andriese Daughter of ye sd Andriese Janse ye sum of one hundred & forty five pounds Currant money of New York as may by ye afore Said Will more largely Appear Now Know Yee that Hee Hendrick Van Voorhees and Janetie Andriese afore Said now wiffe of ye said hendrick van voorhees in Consideration of ye Sum above mentioned of one hundred & forty five pounds good & lawful money of New York well & truely to us in hand paid by our Doerly beloved brother in law Joseph Hegeman Junior According to ye Said will & Testament, Wee doe therefore by virtue of these presents for us our heirs Exeor, Admors, Remise, Release, & forever Absolutely Qwitt claim unto our Daerly beloved Brother in law Joseph Hegeman Junr. afore Said his heirs Exeors, Admors, all & all manner of Actions, Suits, Bills, bonds, writtings obligatory, Debts, Dues, Duties, Acompts, Sum & Sums of money, Judgments, Executions, Extents, Qwarells, Controversie, Trespasses, Damages, & Demands, whatsoever both in Law & Equity, or otherwise however - which against ye Said Joseph Hegeman our sd. brother in law wee Ever had, now have, or which wee our heirs Exeors., Admors. or assigns Shall or may have claim, chalenge or Demand for or by Reason of any matter Cause or thing from ye begening of ye world unto ye Day of ye Date of these presents.  In wittness where of wee have here unto put o[u]r hands & Seals the twenty first Day of Aprill in ye fourth year of ye Reign of our Sovereign Lord George of Great Britt,- France & Ireland King Defender of ye faith, etc. in ye year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred & Eighten.
