The document has no date but the entries in the book previous to it are dated 19 10th month Dec 1677 and those which follow are the election results for offices to be filled in 1678. The island would appear to be Gisbert's Island and in 1681 William Williamson exchanged lot 32 on Gisberts Island for some meadow land. In that deed of exchange, Gisbert's Island is referred to as "an island adjacent to the town".]
